The proposed extension, developed up to detail planning application standard, provided an additional 22 rooms, all ensuite, with additional lounge, assisted bathrooms, disabled toilets, nurses stations and ancillary rooms per floor. The plans were developed with, then owners, Scio Healthcare Ltd, who managed a further 2 Nursing Homes on the Island.  RPA are now working with Hartford Care Ltd, who bought out Scio’s portfolio, to develop alternative proposals for the site.
